What: Models on the Resort 2010 runway.

The name of Prada's fashion shows is Resort 2010. In the Resort 2010 line models had on light pastel colors with light colored shoes with little leather flowers on them to match. All the models had on the round Prada bag. After the group of pastels the models had on mixed color satin fabrics. A small number of the girls had on a satin colorful shirt with satin bikini bottom. I like and disliked this fashion show. I disliked the shirt with the bikini bottom. I loved the beginning with the pastels. I especially liked the shoes with the leather flowers on them. The Bottega Veneta Spring-Summer 2010 show was filled with simple dresses and pants/capris. The colors in the show were white, yellow,purple,green, and red. The models were wearing high heel shoes and bags. The bags were a variety of shapes and colors.This fashion show was very uniform. Everything on the models matched.I think that this collection was very simple but you can see that they used expensive fabrics. I think they could have used a bit more color in the collection. The Gucci's Women Spring Summer 2010 collection started of with a lot of white and then evolved into the darker colors , like blues and blacks. It was a variety of pants, dresses, and skirts. The dresses and skirts were very short. The tops featured cut out shoulders which I thought was different and cute. The collection featured a lot of beading and a wide range of different types of bags. All the models had detailed high heel shoes. They looked like men and only two african american models. At the Louis Vuitton Women Spring Summer 2010 Fashion Show the models had big afros with bows. The collections were filled with light fabrics with different kinds of patterns mixed together. Most of the outfits were simple button down shirts with glittering leggings and the the Louis Vuitton anagram bags. The bags have tassels on them that looked cute. The clothes themselves aren't that great. They looked like they were put together at the last minute. I think Louis Vuitton should stick to the bags and get away from the clothes. Why Is Juicy Couture so expensive? Why do people buy it?

Juicy Couture is an American based company. Their lines have a lot of velour fabrics. You can also buy clothing that aren't made from velour on their website. You see most people wearing the velour tracksuits which start at 98 dollars. This is only for the velour hoodie, the pants start at 120 dollars. You may have seen the girls walking around with the Juicy Couture charm bracelets. They start at $42. The charms that you put on the bracelet are $52 a charm. The bracelets and charms are not even real gold they are 14-karat yellow gold plate. Still, millions of people go out and buy their clothing each year. Most of those people spend over 100 dollars on one item. Why are people buying this stuff because Juicy usually have the name Juicy Couture on the article of clothing you just brought. While your walking down the street they want everyone to notice I paid 100 dollars for this outfit. So in this case your just paying for the name brand.

Diane von Furstenburg spring 2010 collection is made up of dresses and one piece swim suits. The articles of clothing are made of light fabrics that flow in the air. The fabrics have floral prints. On the runway she has different shades of brown, green, yellow,white,purple,and orange. It gave you a sense of Spring as the models walked down the runway.
